Gratitude Ceremony "Chronicle of Compassion"

Gratitude Ceremony "Chronicle of Compassion"

On November 28, a Gratitude ceremony "Chronicle of Compassion" organized by the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, Embassy of Armenia to Russian Federation and Aznavour Foundation with the support of the legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT took place at Moscow Art Academic Theatre after Maxim Gorky.

The event was dedicated to 30th anniversary of Spitak earthquake of 1988 —the devastating natural disaster in the history of Armenia. Russia takes a special role in the Chronicle, and with the ceremony in Moscow Embassy of Armenia to Russian Federation, Aurora Humanitarian Initiative and Aznavour Foundation wanted to express gratitude to Russia and the world on behalf of all Armenians.

More than 800 guests took part in the ceremony, including government officials of Russia and Moscow, politicians, businessmen, public and cultural figures of Russia and Armenia, diplomats, participants of the rescue operations of the 1988 earthquake, doctors and journalists. Among the guests were the wife of the acting Prime Minister of Armenia Anna Hakobyan, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of USSR Nikolai Ryzhkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bosco di Ciliegi Group and close associate of Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Mikhail Kusnirovich and others.

After the ceremony the guests were given the opportunity to enjoy ARARAT brandy and discover the new facets of the legendary drink by tasting cocktails on its base. Special part of the event was the area dedicated to the cooperation of two legends — maestro Aznavour and ARARAT brandy, united by indisputable values. Special for the event a wall of tribute was installed, as well as ARARAT Charles Aznavour bar, named by the blend.

Legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT has been with Aurora since its establishment supporting the award ceremonies of 2016 and 2017. One of the brightest moments of ARARAT-Aurora collaboration in the current year was the special "ARARAT Generosity Dinner. Tribute to Aurora Heroes" event held at Yerevan Brandy Company, which united the guests of Aurora Humanitarian Initiative.
