“La Boheme” ballet

“La Boheme” ballet

On May 29 with the support of ARARAT legendary Armenian brandy the ballet dedicated to Charles Aznavour has been premiered at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiaryan. The performance was honored by the attendance of Aznavour.

"La Boheme" is dedicated to the prominent chansonnier Charles Aznavour and is based on his 12 songs. Nevertheless, the ballet has no intention of presenting Aznavour’s biography and nor it reflects the content of his songs, but rather is a metaphor of his character, life and feelings.

The one act performance reveals the character of a legendary chansonnier, a person who faces various obstacles in life and love, but overcomes them realizing his dream.

The choreographer and writer of the scenario of the ballet is Rudolf Kharatyan.
