ARARAT supported Armenian days in Monaco
Armenian days in Monaco called ARMENIAN COLLECTION 2018 MONTE-CARLO took place on September 2–3. The general partner of the initiative was the legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT.
The initiative was aimed to present Armenian cultural heritage and strengthen relations between Armenia and Monaco. Within the frames of the program a charity concert dedicated to the 115-th anniversary of the celebrated Armenian composer Aram Khachaturyan took place at Òpera de Monte-Carlo with the participation of internationally famous stars: soprano Hasmik Papian and pianist Nareh Arghamanyan. The place was not chosen by chance — Aram Khachaturyan performed at this opera theatre in 1974.
Gala dinner and a fair of Armenian luxe brands were also part of the initiative. At the Gala dinner, which was attended by representatives of Armenian cultural and political spheres as well as diaspora, a special tasting of ARARAT brandies was conducted during which ARARAT brand-ambassador told about the history of the legendary drink and its facets.
On September 3rd ARARAT was presented at a fair taking place at Hotel Metropole, where visitors were able to get better acquainted with the brand as well as enjoy new ARARAT moments by participating in a unique ARARAT ritual with a tasting of Akhtamar and Nairi brandies as well as ultra-premium ARARAT Erebuni. Special guests were a French-Armenian famous sommelier Armand Melkonian, President of Association of Sommeliers of Nice Cote d’Azur Province and others.
"ARARAT has wonderful traditions of supporting events at Cote d’Azur and we are happy to be the general partner of such an important occasion in Monaco — ARMENIAN COLLECTION 2018 MONTE-CARLO, which is aimed to present Armenia in two important aspects: as a country with rich culture and a modern country presenting brands worthy of competing in the world Premium segment," — says Karine Madelrieu, director of Sales and Marketing of Yerevan Brandy Company.
