On 13th of July, a real fest reigned on Zakyan street: residents and tourists gathered to taste dishes of Armenian and international cuisines, as well as the presented assortment of drinks and to enjoy Yerevan style evening to the accompaniment of live music performances. All this became possible within the frames of "Yerevan Gastro Day" project, which was held for the very first time.

Legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT also participated in the event and was presented with its new innovative product embodying two symbols of Armenia — ARARAT and Аpricot. The pavilion made in the bright stylistics of ARARAT Apricot was one of the most visited venues of the event. At the special ARARAT bar visitors were offered cocktails made on the base of ARARAT Apricot, as well as the drink itself in neat serving, which they could enjoy in a comfortable relaxing zone. And capturing the ARARAT moment was possible by getting a photo next to the press wall made of compositions of fresh apricots.

"Yerevan Gastro Day" was held under the slogan "no to plastic" and aimed to promote the development of responsible tourism in Armenia. The idea of preserving the nature as well as organizing events that do not harm the nature are very close to the policy of ARARAT brand. Thus, at the beginning of 2018, Yerevan Brandy Company announced its decision not to use non-biodegradable plastic straws and stirrers in any part of its business, including during events. "Yerevan Gastro Day" was no exception — only cups and straws made of paper were used during the event.
