ARARAT brandies received high awards
From November 14–23 the XXII International professional wines and spirits contest took place in Moscow. Legendary Armenian Brandy ARARAT was honored with high awards — Akhtamar was awarded with gold medal, while ARARAT Charles Aznavour Signature Blend brandy was recognized as the "Best brand of the year".
Wines and spirits from 17 countries were represented at the XXII International professional wines and spirits contest including France, Australia, Argentina, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Russia and others. The international committee of the contest had to examine about 300 samples and choose the best ones in their categories.
The contest of winemakers takes place under the patronage of International Organization of Vine and Wine.
Ten-year-old ARARAT Akhtamar is the most emotional and artistic of the brandies. Its elegant bouquet is dominated by seductive notes of plum, complemented by hints of beeswax and walnut.
ARARAT Charles Aznavour Signature Blend is the result of collaboration between the great artist and international brand, which started back in 2017. Over the past 18 months, maestro and his family have taken part in every single stage of the creation of unique brandy. The unique blend includes rare vintage spirits, reflecting the significant milestones of Aznavour’s creative life.
