On June 7 Yerevan Brandy Company as well as all the companies of Pernod Ricard celebrated ResponsibґALL day for the 8th time.

Launched in 2011, Responsib’ALL Day rallies our 18,500 employees around the world to devote a whole day to Sustainability & Responsibility engagement.

This year on Responsib’ALL day the staff of Yerevan Brandy Company dedicated an entire day to the improvement of the Yerevan Botanical Garden conducting a wide range of activities. In particular, over 100 pine trees were planted, which were acquired earlier in the Kotayk region of Armenia. The works were carried out at the oak alley and various biogeographic sites of the garden, which exhibit the variety of floral world of Armenia and the planet.

It should be noted that endemic species of plants rare in Armenia, which are on the verge of extinction and are included in the Red Book of plants of Armenia (Staphylea pinnata, Sorbus roopiana, Pyrus daralaghezi, P. zangezura, P. Sosnovskyi, P. Fedorovii, Cercis griffithii, Pereploca graeca, Sambucus tigranii) were planted at the exposition area "Armenian flora and vegetation.

Besides, benches for visitors, garbage bins as well as special informational signs with the names of plants were installed. The employees of Yerevan Brandy Company also painted the outer fence of the Botanical Garden the total perimeter of which is 1000 meters.

The aesthetic component of the project was strengthened by planting over 1800 seedlings in the three different locations near site of "Collection Roses".

"Responsib’ALL day summarizes the consistent activities of our company in the field of environmental care. It’s a day that gives every single employee a chance to make his/her contribution to the preservation and improvement of the environment and pay attention to the problems (i.e. pollution, extermination of rare plants, etc.) that exist in this area regardless of the position or department s/he works in. This kind of events already became traditions in which we also involve our partners and the society. Thus, last year we worked at „Erebuni“ Historical & Archaeological Museum-Reserve, the results of which still bring delight to citizens and guests of the capital. I hope that our collaboration with the Botanical Garden will give many wonderful moments to all the visitors", said Andrey Panov, the Head of Human Resource department.
