From 9—16th June with the support of the legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT the long-awaited "Kinotavr" festival took place in Sochi, which celebrated its jubilee this year.

"Kinotavr" is an open film festival, which is one of the most important events in the Russian cinematography. This year the festival was attended by famous directors, producers, actors as well as other representatives of the industry. Among the guests of the event were Vladimir Pozner, Fedor Bondarchuk, Paulina Andreeva, Nadezhda Mikhalkova, Kseniya Sobchak, Konstantin Bogomolov, Darya Moroz, Irina Gorbacheva, Aglaya Tarasova and many others.

The competition program featured 15 films. The president of jury was People’s Artist of Russia Konstantin Khabensky. The grand prix of the festival was won by Boris Akopov for "Taurus", Alexander Lungin was recognized as "Best director" while the "Best actors" became Aleksandr Kuznetsov and Viktoriya Tolstoganova.

The legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT, which traditionally supports the most important cultural events, became the official partner of "Kinotavr" supporting the opening and closing ceremonies as well as other key events of the film festival. The guests had the opportunity to enjoy ARARAT brandy in neat and to discover its facets with the help of colorful cocktails made on its base.
