From Armenia with Love…


On November 15th the official opening ceremony of Days of Armenian Culture in Russia was held at the State Tretyakov gallery, attended by President of Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Being one of the symbols of Armenia, ARARAT legendary Armenian brandy was the partner of the event.
The event started with the exhibition of famous Armenian painter Martiros Sarian, which involved around 30 paintings from the collections of National Gallery of Armenia, Martiros Sarian House-Museum and State Tretyakov Gallery.
Within the frames of the event, President Putin handed President Sargsyan “Demon and Angel with the Soul of Tamara” painting by Mikhail Vrubel, stolen from Armenia back in 1995, which was restored by the specialists of the Tretyakov Gallery.
The event was attended by politicians of the two countries, cultural elite, as well as media representatives. The evening was accompanied by a special performance of the band of the famous jazz saxophonist Igor Butman, while the special atmosphere was provided by the legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT. Guests shared moments of joy, national pride and victory by enjoying six year old ARARAT Ani and cocktails made with it.
