Julia Petrova, the Director of the Museum of Russian Impressionism, commented on the international partnership: "The exhibition was assembled in cooperation with two brilliant museum collections of Yerevan - the National Gallery of Armenia and the Museum of Russian Art (the collection of Professor A. Ya. Abramyan). Such international partnership is an honor for us. We also thank the collectors who supplemented the exhibition with their canvases, and the heirs of the masters represented at the exhibition: they not only provided magnificent bright works, but also shared with the Russian audience their love for national art which is unfortunately practically unknown in our country."
Olga Sviblova, Vardan Toganian, Armenian Ambassador to Russia, Vasily Tsereteli, Leonid Yakubovich, Ekaterina and Alexander Strizhenov, Ambartsum Kabanyan, Maksim Matveyev, Boris and Marina Mints and many others came first to get acquainted with the creative work of Armenian impressionist artists.
The partner of the evening was legendary Armenian brandy ARARAT. Rich and deep taste of 10-year-old ARARAT "Akhtamar" brandy complemented the bright images of Armenia inspired by the canvases of the impressionists.
