On December 21 & 22 "Open Doors Days" initiative took place at ARARAT Museum. Thousands of visitors were given an opportunity to take an unforgettable journey through the history of ARARAT brandies revealing the heritage of mastery and triumph — from the very first samples to the modern facets of ARARAT.

This year the initiative was dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the first ascent to Mount Ararat. To commemorate this anniversary ARARAT Museum and Pan Photo agency presented an exclusive photo series of Mount Ararat, which was made during a special pilgrimage of Karapet Sahakyan in September — October 2019. The photo series presents various and not so well-known facets of the biblical mountain — from the crater to a sunset over the mountain, from the mountain foot to the top. The photos were printed on canvas, thereby highlighting the artistic nature of the images and suggesting that Ararat is also our emotional reflection.

Within the frames of cross museum cooperation, ARARAT Museum also provided its visitors with tickets of Khachatur Abovyan House-Museum offering to reveal the new facets of great writer, who was the first one who climbed the mountain 190 years ago.
